Maya recently moved to Guelph and is accepting clients via Skype, FaceTime, and telephone.
Maya provides therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families with a special interest in gender non-binary/transgender support, LGBT support, adolescent mental health, couples counselling, family therapy, women's mental health, fertility, and prenatal/postpartum support.
Maya is a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. She completed a master's degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, Maya studied Kriplalu Yoga teaching, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Vipassana meditation, and Ayurveda. She integrates evidence-informed psychology with meditation/mindfulness, yoga, and Buddhist psychology.
