Please note Maya recently relocated to Guelph with her family. She is currently accepting private practice clients only via Skype, facetime, or phone. 

Maya is a Psychological Associate  Mental Health Seconday Support at the Upper Grand District School Board. She has provided therapy since 2007, and led yoga classes and facilitated mind-body workshops since 1995. Her special interests include adolescent mental health, LGBT support, gender non-binary/transgender support, couples counselling, family therapy, women's mental health, fertility/infertility support, and prenatal/postpartum support.

Maya completed a master's degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto. She is registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario in Clinical and Counselling Psychology.

Maya also studied Kriplalu Yoga teaching, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy, Vipassana meditation, and Ayurveda. She integrates evidence-informed psychology with meditation/mindfulness, yoga, and Buddhist psychology.
